OPEN auditions are being held for a gospel musical, which will be staged as part of Black History Month.

Solihull Arts Complex has teamed-up with Nu Century Arts, a Midlands theatre company, to put on the lively show.

Now the hunt is on for budding performers of an African-Caribbean background, to appear in the musical.

Auditions will be held at Solihull Arts Complex, tonight (Friday) between 4-8pm.

And tomorrow it’s the second-leg of auditions, taking place at the Bosworth Community Centre, Chelmsley Wood between 2noon-6pm.

All actors should come prepared with one song, without music or backing track, and one prepared audition piece - from any kind of drama.

Not Quite Gospel will be performed at the Arts Complex on October 12. Tickets are available from the box office on 0121 704 6962.
