SOLIHULL Symphony Orchestra launches its new season this month with a Last Night of the Proms dinner and concert at Wroxall Abbey.
The concert, which will take place in Wren's Chapel features Land of Hope and Glory, Jerusalem and all the usual favourites, and Music Director Martin Leigh said: "Naturally, we'll be expecting the audience to sing along!".
Later in the season, the orchestra will be performing Vaughan Williams' London Symphony as part of hs bi-centenary celebrations, Strauss' Four Last Songs, Honegger's Pacific 231, and separate pieces to showcase the string and wind sections.
The season will end next summer in spectacular style with Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.
Further details of the programme are available from the orchestra's website, www.solihullsymphony.org.uk.
