Lapworth Players will be performing a pair of one-act plays in the village hall.
Local residents, Simone Bentley, and Monica Byng, will be producing the two shows.
The double-bill, comprising a comedy and a tragedy, will be performed later this month.
First-up is Syrinx, the stage debut by Kate Mosse – it’s a story of the grief of losing a child. On the lighter side is Caught on the Hop, a rib-tickling performance set in the Victorian era.
Two Faces of the Mask will be performed at Lapworth Village Hall from May 12-14.
