FANS of the award-winning Little Princess pre-school show and best selling picture books can join their hero-ine and award-winning author and illustrator, Tony Ross, for an exclusive storytelling session later this month.
And the event at Solihull's John Lewis store on Saturday, August 30, is certain to get the royal seal of approval!
Celebrating the wonderful array of Little Princess books and her first ever toy range, the author will be treating customers to exclusive storytelling sessions with the Little Princess character by his side bringing this blue blooded young royal to life.
Each session will run for 15 minutes and Tony Ross will also be signing autographs and his best-selling Little Princess books for his royal fans to enjoy. There will also be a chance for youngsters to be pictured with the Little Princess.
Tony said: "I was very pleased to receive the royal summons from Little Princess to join her for her very first visit to see the VIPs (Very Important Princes and Princesses) of Solihull.
"We look forward to meeting new friends and families in John Lewis where Little Princess and I will be telling some of her favourite stories and bringing her adventures to life for all to enjoy."
New Little Princess picture books out this summer include I Want to Be a Pirate!, I Want to Be a Cavegirl!, I Want My Puppets!, and I Want to Go to Be Tall! All feature more endearing adventures for all the family to enjoy.
There will also be a special edition of I Want My Sledge! out in the autumn including a DVD of the episode.
Boys and girls can also treat themselves with the new range of Little Princess toys including cuddly toys of Little Princess and Gilbert and collectable beanies of character favourites like Puss and Scruff.
Based on the best-selling children's books, the Little Princess TV series features the voice talents of international television and film star Jane Horrocks and presenter/comedian Julian Clary. It is currently on air every weekday on FIVE's Milkshake!
So make sure you jump in your carriage and head down to Solihull on August 30 for a right royal treat!
