CASTLE Bromwich singer Satitia Welsh has made it to the final stage of a prestigious singing competition.
The 23-year-old is one half of urban duo 4mula, who are through to the last round of Live & Unsigned 2011.
On July 23, Satitia and Birmingham-based Hose McKenzie will be performing at the 02 Arena.
“I just can’t believe it, I never thought we’d get to this stage,” said the former Park Hall pupil.
“To be honest I never expected to get through the first round, so this is absolutely incredible.”
The final is taking place at the same time as Live Fest, which is the UK’s largest indoor musical festival.
Satitia is getting ready to give the performance of her life under the same roof as acts like N Dubz and Tinie Tempah.
“It’s my birthday weekend as well, so I’m really looking forward to going down there and performing,” she said.
4mula booked their place at Britain’s biggest concert venue after impressing judges at last weekend’s area final.
Over 10,000 acts enter Live & Unsigned every year, hoping to land a lucrative recording contract.
