THE very first Spring Gala Concert of the Birmingham Chamber Music Society is to feature the superb Birmingham Conservatoire-trained soloist Di Xiao. Di will play Beethoven, Sonata Op.27 No. (The Moonlight), Mendelssohn, Songs Without Words and Chopin, Ballade No.4 Op.52.
In the second part of the recital, violinist Gina McCormack and pianist Nigel Clayton will play Chausson, Poème and Saint-Saëns, Sonata in D minor.
The concert is at 3pm on Sunday, May 15 in the Adrian Boult Hall at Birmingham Conservatoire, Paradise Place, Birmingham.
Tickets are £12 each (£3 for students in full-time education and children under 16) and are available on the door.
