TAKE a step back in time to the sound of Motown when the 'Once in a Lifetime - Motown Legends Live Tour' comes to the NIA on June 26 2009 for one night only.

Celebrating 50 years of Motown, the special tour features an outstanding line up of talent from the era including The Commodores, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, The Miracles and JR. Walker's All Stars.

Discovered after supporting the Jackson Five, The Commodores went on to sell over 60 million records with their Motown releases alone with hits like Three Times A Lady and Sail On.

They were inducted into the US Hall Of fame in 2002.

As one third of the super successful girl group The Supremes, Mary Wilson helped make the band one of the most influential and successful icons of the 60s & 70s with several chart topping hits including the number one single Baby Love.

And Martha Reeves & The Vandellas had many hits that included Nowhere To Run and Dancing In The Street while the great soul diva herself provided vocals on Marvin Gaye's first three hits.

As the first Motown group to bring a gold record to the label for selling a million copies, The Miracles boasted many memorable songs such as Tears Of A Clown, Love Machine and Tracks Of My Tears.

Former frontman Smokey Robinson eventually went solo with huge success.

Known as the Ultimate Motown Party Band, Jr Walker's "All Stars" will have the audience dancing in the aisles with a selection of hits including Road Runner, What Does It Take (To Win Your Love) and Walk in the Night so make a date in your diary and boogie with the best.

Tickets are on sale at £37.50, plus booking and transaction fee.

Tickets can be purchased from The Ticket Factory on 0844 33 88 000 or on-line at www.theticketfactory.com.
