A YOUNG boy from Solihull has landed the role of a lifetime as young Simba in the Lion King.
Taha Elamin, aged eight, auditioned for the job in June and after a six-hour long audition he was offered a year-long contract with the Disney group.
He has started his performances at the Birmingham Hippodrome and will continue with the company to Edinburgh.
Taha is a member of Stagecoach Solihull, where he has been taking classes for the past year.
Principal Jennifer Pando said: “We are really excited and have booked a large group from the school to go and see Taha. We really can’t wait!”
