Talent event for disabled artistes

A SOLIHULL singer has organised a major event for disabled people to show off their talents.

A SOLIHULL singer has organised a major event for disabled people to show off their talents.

Lady MJ Warrior has invited people from around the world to the event – which will be taking place on Monday.

Since suffering a serious head injury four years ago, the singer has suffered seizures, but it hasn’t got in the way of her musical ambitions.

“I decided to organise the event because I wanted to promote the creativity of people with all sorts of disabilities,” explained the 24-year-old.

“So we’re going to have poets, singers, dancers, people with all sorts of different passions. But it’s open to everyone really.”

A keen musician from an early age, Lady MJ has mostly focussed on urban music (rap, hip hop), but enjoys dabbling with different styles.
