FROM tribute acts to comedy nights - Solihull Arts Complex has unveiled its programme of shows for 2011.
The calendar features a mix of touring troupes and local groups over the months to come.
Among the highlights are Malcolm Stent’s Easter Songs of Praise, with the Salvation Army Band.
There will be a treat for fans of ELO, Thin Lizzy and Leonard Cohen, with a host of top tribute bands.
And there will be a return to the venue by saxophonist Julian Smith and jazz legend Acker Bilk.
Barnstormers Comedy night - a show which made its debut last year - will continue to bring up-and-coming comics to the venue.
As always, the borough’s amateur dramatics’ societies are hard at work, rehearsing for musicals.
Knowle Operatic Society will be performing Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Peterbrook Players will be tackling Oliver, while Solihull Theatre Company are bringing Hello Dolly to the stage.
