SOLIHULL Arts Complex sees the return of Theatre 28 in their latest production 'The Late Mrs Early', a comedy by Norman Robbins.
The play centres around poor down trodden Sam Early, long suffering husband to Alice. Even the announcement by son Terry that he is engaged to marry Susan is met with fury from Alice, on account of a previous relationship she had with Susan's father.
Alice's sudden demise sees comic change in behaviour from Sam as he at last gets his life back. Sam's celebrations prove premature as Alice's determination that Terry will not marry Susan brings hilarious results as she returns to haunt Sam and put an end to the engagement. Will Alice succeed?
Theatre 28 promise an evening of comedy and sentimentality, so if you want to find out if Alice succeeds you will certainly be entertained whilst doing so.
The Late Mrs Early will be performed at The Solihull Arts Complex on Friday October 17 & Saturday October 18 2008. Tickets are £8.50, and available from the Box Office on 0121 704 6962.
