AN ALL-STAR line-up has been announced for the LG Arena’s opening season.
Teenage star Miley Cyrus, rockers Green Day and the Welsh legend Tom Jones are among those set to perform at the redesigned venue.
Rebranded as the LG Arena, the site will now have a maximum capacity of 16,700.
Phil Mead, from The NEC Group, said: “The LG Arena and the improvements it brings will ensure the venue builds upon the iconic status it deserves and cements its place in the premier tier of UK venues.”
Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet and the Backstreet Boys will among the other musicians performing between October and December.
But as well as international acts, the cream of the Midlands will also be packing out the venue. In December there will be a performance by UB40 and the return of Rock with Laughter - a Christmas favourite with Lenny Henry compering.
