Wayne Sleep to take starring role in Cabaret at the Birmimgham Rep

LEADING dancer Wayne Sleep will take one of the starring roles when the Birmingham Rep stages Cabaret at the end of the month.

LEADING dancer Wayne Sleep will take one of the starring roles when the Birmingham Rep stages Cabaret at the end of the month.

But the international star should take the role of Emcee in his stride, he played the part in a celebrated West End production of the musical.

Sleep will share the stage with Samantha Banks - one of the finalists in the BBC's I'd Do Anything - who will take the role of Sally Bowles and Henry Luxemburg and Jenny Logan.

Samantha is the first of the Nancy candidates to land a major role following the TV show.
