RAIN or Shine's production of The Winter's Tale visits Birmingham Botanical Gardens, on Wednesday, August 13 and Thursday, August 14 at 7.30pm.
Celebrating it's tenth anniversary, the theatre group will re-create the Bard's sublime masterpiece, set in the glorious outdoors.
Passion, love and reunion rule this beguiling dramatic comedy. Along the way, it visits kings, queens, playful children, a singing street peddler, dancing shepherds and a famously hungry bear.
Directed by James Reynard, the eight-strong Gloucester-based troupe's UK tour will take in venues from the tiny Channel Island of Alderney to Northumberland and from Wales to Norfolk.
Audiences are invited to bring their own low-backed seating or rugs and a picnic. True to it's name, the company will perform in all weathers - so bring a brolly, just in case!
Tickets can be purchased from the Botanical Gardens on 0121 454 1860 or online at www.rainorshine.co.uk.
