A BOROUGH actor has been treading the boards at Edinburgh's hugely popular Fringe Festival.
Yan Allsopp has been interested in acting from a very early age and performed along with the other members of Dumbshow theatre company.
He joined the group not long after starting at Warwick University.
He was at Edinburgh last year, watching the company perform. This year he's taking to the stage himself.
"I'm looking forward to the experience," said the 20-year-old. "I've always been interested in drama and this is a show we've worked hard on."
When we spoke to Yan on Monday, people were just starting to arrive for the festival and he was expecting the atmosphere to be electric.
Yan is performing Clockheart Boy which he describes as a fairy-tale with a twist.
A lot of work and months of preparation have gone into the production and Dumbshow are confident it will prove a hit with families.
